Here are Hand Dyed Fabrics by Lori we love 'giving back' that is why we are up and running with our 'Quilts for the Courageous'. We are dedicated to helping the truly homeless population of America with quilts to keep them warm.
We are hopeing that you can help us by making and donating a quilt to our cause, these quilts can be very basic or as fancy as you would like them to be. They can be any pattern or design. We do ask that these quilts are larger than lap size as this blanket will be used for warmth on cold winter nights.
We plan on starting locally and then expanding throughout Western New York as the need and quilts become available. We will work with the homeless missions and other agencies to make sure that these quilts get in the hands of those really in need.
If you have a quilt or quilt top you would like to donate, please stop by our shop Hand Dyed Fabrics & more at 9868 Leon Road, Cattaraugus NY 14719 or mail them to the same address, we ask that you do include your name and address so we can properly thank you and add a picture of your quilt to our online gallery along with your name and state.
We will also gladly accept quilt tops and we will finish them off and add them to our collection of quilts for the homeless.
